On the 6th hole of a Sudden Death Playoff, the winner of the Turning Stone Resort Championship used his Rife Barbados Putter to sink the winning putt and capture the 2nd PGA Tour Victory of his career and a paycheck for $1,080,000.00. He led the field in Putting Stats all weekend and finished the Tournament 1st in Putts Per GIR with a 1.611 avg., and 3rd in Putts Per Round.
Turning Stone is the first tournament of the 2009 Fall Series, which is comprised of five events. The win not only put him atop that race but catapulted him 24 spots from 59th to 25th on the Tour Money List for the season as Players are vying to finish the year in the Top 125 on the money list.
The winner of the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship shot a final round of 66 at The Old Course at St. Andrews to best the field by 3 strokes and capture his 2nd European TOUR Victory of this season with his RIFE Barbados putter. It was obvious that this was going to be a magical day for him as he birdied 6 of the first 7 holes.
