(VIENNA, VA) – Billy Casper Golf (BCG) – owner and operator of more than 110 courses in 25 states – has promoted Bryan Barrington to General Manager of The Golf Club at Oxford Greens, ranked No. 3 in Connecticut by Golfweek.
With Oxford Greens since its opening in 2004, Barrington will oversee all aspects of the club, including clubhouse operations, turf management, food and beverage, special events, golf instruction and on-site staffing and training.
Barrington, most recently Superintendent at Oxford Greens and responsible for a comprehensive turf-management program, will retain that title in the interim. He helped direct the grow-in of the course, and presided over irrigation installation and layout, construction of the maintenance building and implementation of an ecologically-friendly agronomic program. Under Barrington’s leadership, Oxford Greens was named an Audubon International Certified Cooperative Sanctuary in 2008.
