The 9-hole “Highland Lake” course at the Highland Lake Golf Club facility in Flat Rock, North Carolina features 2,615 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 35. The course rating is 33.2 and it has a slope rating of 116 on Bermuda grass. Designed by Jim Sparks, the Highland Lake Golf Club opened in 1979 and is considered one of the best 9-hole courses and practice facilities in Western North Carolina. Happy Fox manages the course as the Golf Professional.
