Softspikes® Black Widow® Tour™ Enjoys Another Victory on the Nationwide Tour, Capturing the Miccosukee Championship
Brentwood, Tennessee, October 19, 2009 … PrideSports, maker of Softspikes® cleats, the #1 cleat brand on TOUR, today announced that the Company’s newest PINS and THiNTech cleat design for adidas Golf’s new TOUR360 4.0 golf shoes have debuted with a stellar victory on TOUR, capturing the PGA TOUR’s Justin Timberlake’s Shriners Hospital for Children event. In addition, 60% of the plastic cleat field at the event, including 25 of the top 38 finishers, also wore Softspikes brand cleats.
In related Tour news, Softspikes continued its field dominance with 81% of the top 30 players at the Nationwide Tour’s Miccosukee Championship all wearing Softspikes cleats, including the winner who donned the Company’s Black Widow® Tour™, golf’s first adjustable cleat. Further, 26 of the top 31 players at the Champions Tour’s Administaff Small Business Classic all wore Softspikes cleats.
