LAKE MARY, FL – What was the best new product of the year? Was there a PR promotion that caught your eye? Was there an extraordinary achievement in the golf business that impressed you? Or a print ad, TV commercial, golf course design, charity tournament or player development program?
Nominations for the 17th Annual ING Industry Honors Awards must be into the International Network Of Golf’s office by end of day Friday, October 23 in order to be considered for this year’s edition of “Golf’s Academy Awards.”
The International Network of Golf, a 20-year-old, non-profit networking organization, conducts the ING Industry Honors program. Nominees do not have to be members of ING, and can come from anyone in the industry, even from the nominees themselves. It is asked that a 50-word description of the product, service or achievement accompany the nomination.
The categories include: Product Ingenuity; Business Achievement; TV Commercial; Print Advertising; Player Development; Golf Course Architecture; Tournament Service and Public Relations/Promotions. Sub-committees will choose the final ballot, with three nominees in each category, and the winners will be determined by a vote of the ING membership.
Nominees will be recognized and winners announced at the Presentation Press Conference in ClubING (309-A) at the Orange County Convention Center on the second day of the 2010 PGA Merchandise Show.
