SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. – Dixon Golf, manufacturers of the world’s first high-performance, eco-friendly golf ball, donated its “Earth” golf balls to participants in yesterday’s 2009 Frys.com Open Official Pro-Am. Each player in the Pro-Am, which featured three amateurs and a top PGA TOUR professional playing in the tournament, received a dozen of the environmentally-safe golf balls, courtesy of Dixon Golf.
“The Frys.com Open is making a concerted effort to become a carbon neutral event, and we thought introducing our eco-friendly golf balls to each of its participants is a great way to raise awareness on how to help green the game of golf,” said William Carey, CEO of Dixon Golf.
