Alexandria, VA – October 20, 2009 – CMAA is proud to announce new allied relationships with three associations: the Club Spa & Fitness Association, the International Facility Management Association and the Locker Room Managers Association. By collaborating with these organizations, CMAA will be better positioned to confront shared issues and make an even more positive impact on the industry.
The Locker Room Managers Association represents locker room staff. LRMA promotes pride in the locker room manager profession and supports its members’ efforts to make locker rooms comfortable and pleasant for club members and guests. LRMA also works to improve the overall locker room management skills of its members and serves as a national networking forum for these professionals.
The Club Spa & Fitness Association was established in January 2007 to provide support for fitness, spa and wellness professionals in the club industry. CSFA is committed to providing educational and networking opportunities to help members advance their careers. CSFA also seeks to establish and maintain high standards of ethics for industry professionals.
The International Facility Management Association provides a wide range of support resources for more than 19,500 facility managers in 60 countries. Formed in 1980, IFMA certifies facility managers, conducts research and provides educational programs. IFMA created World Workplace, the largest facility management conference and exposition of its kind.
