WINDERMERE, Fla. – Due to the overwhelming response, Golf Fitness Magazine has extended their editorial submission deadlines and advertising opportunities for the upcoming issue of Golf Fitness Magazine which will include their exclusive GFM Holiday Gift Guide. The new deadline for product submissions as well as reserving advertising space will be Nov. 2, 2009. “We are thrilled that the golf and fitness industry portrays our publication in such a positive fashion that they all want to have their products included in this upcoming issue,” states Kristi Karst Gomen, one of the owners of GFM and Senior Editor.
Golf Fitness Magazine is the nation’s leading golf magazine chalked full of fresh and exciting alternatives to improving your game and lowering your scores with proper conditioning and better health for golfers of all ages and ability.
In every issue of Golf Fitness Magazine there is a section that highlights “GFM Recommended” Performance Products.” This section highlights new items in golf and fitness that are approved by the GFM Advisory Team and help to improve performance and ultimately lower scores. However, in the upcoming holiday issue of Golf Fitness Magazine, there will also be a special GFM Holiday Gift Guide section. This section will be limited to the most exciting gift ideas* to help the avid GFM reader with purchasing decisions.
“These gifts can be anything from apparel to accessories to the latest golf gadgets or trend setting sunglasses, gloves or even clubs,” explained Kristi Karst Gomen, Senior Editor of Golf Fitness Magazine. “We want this special section to give our readers great ideas and to help in our own small way to put a surge into the holiday buying season.
In addition to the special Holiday Gift Guide Section, Golf Fitness Magazine will expand its circulation into the major, high-end golfing communities of Florida, concentrating heavily on the Central Florida area.
“This is the first step in our increased controlled circulation expansion focusing on growing our publication with a regional strategy,” said GFM Founder and Publisher Steve Gomen. “We have successfully identified with the golf consumer on a national level based on the evidence by our consistent subscriber growth, but the regional strategy will create a win-win for both our national advertisers and those who participate at the regional level. Because both will be reaching our highly-qualified and unique readership with our controlled circulation. We are excited to implement this strategy in the “Golf Capital Of The World” and continue to work hard to help our advertisers get the most return on investment from their print and online campaigns with GFM,” he said.
