Asheville, NC – Speaking of Golf™ Radio Show hosts Tom and Sonja Horan will be traveling to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia to attend the 2009 Asia Pacific Golf Summit which is being held October 26 thru the 28th.
While there, Tom has been asked to participate in a Fireside Chat with none other than the Golden Bear himself, Hall of Famer, Jack Nicklaus. “I couldn’t be more excited about this opportunity,” said Horan. “I’ve interviewed some of the greatest golfers in the world on my radio show, but to be the only media representative from the United States participating in this Fireside Chat with Mr. Nicklaus is really something special. I feel very honored.”
Horan has also been invited to play in The Gary Player Charity Tournament on October 28th with 24 other dignitaries including The Black Knight, Gary Player and the King of Malaysia. “What can I say,” said Horan, “I grew up watching Gary Player and have admired him my whole life…now I’m going to be playing golf with him. It’s the opportunity of a lifetime.”
About The 2009 Asia Pacific Golf Summit
Malaysia is the host venue for Asia Pacific’s most important golf business conference, The Asia Pacific Golf Summit. The world class Summit will be held at the prestigious Putrajaya International Convention Centre from October 26-28. A gathering of movers and shakers from the global golf industry is expected to descend upon Kuala Lumpur to explore ways and means of how the future of golf is to grow in the Asia Pacific region.
Heading the cast of stellar names will be the most powerful man in golf – Jack Nicklaus. Another famous legend who will be in Kuala Lumpur for the Summit is Gary Player – known as The Black Knight.
