Aldila’s NV® helps Frys.com Open champ set PGA Tour consecutive 36-hole record of 122 and post his second Tour victory

“The Hottest Shafts In Golf” continue to dominated wood, hybrid shaft counts on both Tours

POWAY, Calif. – Capitalizing on the maximum distance and unparalleled accuracy of Aldila’s NV® in his driver, the winner of the Frys.com Open followed up a PGA Tour 36-hole consecutive record of 122 (shooting a pair of 61s) by out driving the competition on the final day for the win. It took him two extra holes but with the help of Aldila’s NV, he posted his second PGA Tour victory and in the process finished tied for fifth in driving distance with a 306.9 average and an amazing 89.29 percent driving accuracy compared to the field’s average of 68.98 percent.

The NV features Aldila’s exclusive Micro Laminate Technology that helps eliminate distracting “shock” giving many Tour players the “perfect feel” the NV is famous for. As the NV continues to win on Tour year after year, Aldila’s latest Technology, S-core found in their number one shaft, the VooDoo, continues to lure Tour player after Tour player to make the switch from their “graphite” shaft to the VooDoo.

“The real “magic” of the VooDoo is its high modulus carbon stabilization rib running the length of the shaft,” said Stewart Bahl, Aldila’s Marketing Manager. “The innovative rib structure keeps the shaft more concentric, preventing shaft ovaling, deformation and wasted energy during the golf swing. Because the shaft’s symmetry is maintained throughout the swing, it loads and unloads more consistently, enabling players to more reliably deliver the club head to the ball every swing.”

Once again this week, the VooDoo helped Aldila win the wood and hybrid shaft manufacturer count again at the Frys.com Open and at the PGA Tour Championship, according to the Darrell Survey. “The Hottest Shafts In Golf” had more hybrids in play than the next leading competitor by more than a 2 to 1 margin. As Aldila continues to win shaft counts week after week, they continue their reign as the number on shaft on Tour.

Aldila has the unique ability to define the intangibles of the game of golf. To translate numbers into theory, theory into practice, and practice into perfection. We do the experimenting so you don’t have to. Pushing success to the edge and redefining how power should feel. Are you playing Aldila, or just graphite?
