Abaco and Aussie Mallet Putters Used To Win The AT&T Championship and The Nationwide Tour Championship
Sanford, FL – RIFE Putters would like to congratulate the winner of the AT&T Championship on the Champions Tour AND the winner of the Tour Championship on The Nationwide Tour, on their victories this past weekend.
This was RIFE’s fifth win of the season, and their 24th victory since 2007, on The Champions Tour. The Texas native relied on his RIFE Abaco putter to fire a final round of 64 and didn’t record a single bogey over his final 36 holes to take home the title and a check for $255,000.00. He finished 5th in Putts Per Round for the event. RIFE had 5 players in the Top 10 including two T-2nd Place Finishes this week and were again 1st on the Darrell Survey with eight more putters in play than their nearest competitor.
It was a fitting end to a successful 2009 Nationwide Tour season for RIFE Putters as the winner used a RIFE Aussie Blade putter to capture a 3 stroke victory at the Tour Championship in Charleston, SC. Putting was the key to victory as he finished 1st in Putts Per Round and 2nd in Putts Per Green in Regulation. The 1st Place check for $180,000.00 moved him into the Top 10 on the Money List and secured his PGA TOUR card for 2010. RIFE had three Nationwide Tour Players graduate and earn their full-time exempt PGA TOUR cards for 2010, none of which of course, have been paid to play a RIFE putter on Tour.
