HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C. – Hank Haney International Junior Golf Academy (Hank Haney IJGA) is proud to announce BMW Southern Region as the presenting sponsor of the Hank Haney Invitational to be held November 13th-15th at Sea Pines Resort in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. The Hank Haney Invitational is an official event of the International Junior Golf Tour (IJGT) and regarded as one of the most prestigious junior golf tournaments in the United States. The event will take place at Harbour Town Golf Links and the Ocean Course, both within Sea Pines Resort.
As part of the BMW Southern Region’s involvement as presenting sponsor, families of participants will have the opportunity to experience the BMW Brand first hand by test driving a broad range of BMW and MINI vehicles, including the flagship 7 Series and the new Advanced Diesel technology in the X5 xDrive35d and 335d Sedan.

Hank Haney International Junior Golf Academy in conjunction with its affiliates-Heritage Academy and the International Junior Golf Tour (IJGT)-is the only organization in the world that combines training, competition and academics for serious junior golfers.
Hank Haney, coach of the world’s number one player, directs the Golf Program at the Academy, which was founded in 1995. Since joining the IJGA in June 2007, Hank has trained and certified all the instructors and has worked one-on-one with all the students. The name of the organization was changed in early 2008 to reflect Hank’s increased involvement with the Academy.
Students attend the Academy from 28 states across the U.S. and 24 countries from around the world. Hank Haney IJGA is located on Hilton Head Island, one of the world’s premier golf destinations.

Tournament Information
The field of participants will include some of the highest ranked junior golfers in North America including current students from the Hank Haney International Junior Golf Academy (Hank Haney IJGA) and all 16 members of the Mexican National Team.
Practice rounds will take place on Friday, November 13th followed by Hank Haney IJGA Director of Instruction and former PGA Teacher of the Year, Peter Krause, conducting an instructional clinic for families of the participants in the tournament.
The first round will be tee times from 10:48 a.m. to 12:18 p.m. off the Nos. 1 and 10 tees of both Harbour Town Golf Links and the Ocean Course. Following the first round, Hank Haney, instructor to the #1 player in the world, will be the guest speaker at the Hank Haney Invitational Reception. The reception will conclude with the Hank Haney IJGA hosting a “College Signing Ceremony” for current students. The final round of the Hank Haney Invitational presented by BMW will take place on November 15th followed by an awards ceremony with Haney presenting trophies to top finishers in all divisions.
