HONMA Golf Co. Ltd. JAPAN-has released a new BERES ladies iron model, the ML503S thin sole model. The ML503S iron has a more traditional shape from the ML503 utility model. In addition, the toe and heel of the sole have been rounded and the extraneous weight has been transferred to the back and bottom of the sole. Through the use of CAD, the varying center of gravity has been designed to be deep and low for each of the irons. By doing this, the club grips the ball more uniformly on the face, generating high trajectory and superior carry distance. The ML503S is a two-piece structure; SUS630 stainless body and a high-strength custom steel “Forged F” face. The “Forged F” technique incorporates high-strength materials, but allows for a mild feel at impact.
The standard production ML503S is a 2-Star grade (MSRP $345/club) up to the ultra-prestigious 5-Star grade (MSRP $4,395.00/club) featuring P1000 Platinum, 24k gold embellishment and an ion plated shaft for those who like the finer things in life. The ML503S model features HONMA’s New ARMRQ UD40 graphite shaft for lady players with slow to average club head speed. The ML503S is available as an 8-piece set (No.5-10, 11, SW) or can be broken into a partial set as per the customer’s preference, depending on stock availability.
