Science and Motion Sports today announced a unique take on their SAM PuttLab as a mobile putting analysis studio.
Glen Coombe SAM USA Eastern Representative said, “What do you get when you combine a vintage Airstream commercial vehicle and the world’s state of the art putting analysis equipment? You get a weatherproof, private, putting analysis studio, on wheels.”
Coombe has used his 1984 Airstream 28′ motor home chassis for the past four years as a rolling showroom. The latest launch of this vehicle is just one more way the SAM PuttLab can be employed as a profit center. Golfers of all abilities use SAM PuttLab to better understand their putting stroke and can use SAM in an indoor or outdoor setting.
The mobile SAM PuttLab debuted at the SAS Championship in Cary, NC the last week of September and the fifth place finisher was the first Champions Tour player to take advantage of the opportunity to use the SAM mobile studio. His putting performance at the SAS was ahead of his year to date putting states and had him tie for first place in the first round, finish second alone in round two, and then finish the tournament in fifth place.
The SAM Mobile Studio is equipped with a putting surface from Trueline Putting Greens and rolls at an exciting eleven on the Stimp meter. Results are viewed on a 25″ HD wall mounted LCD monitor.
