GolfBuddy currently employs a team of more than 300 course surveyors around the world that physically walks new courses and updates existing course information. “Our course surveyors have been working very hard, and we are very proud to be the only GPS Rangefinder to have over 25,000 courses around the world in our library. GolfBuddy Europe has been working diligently to expand its course library across Europe. “We have a very professional team of dedicated course surveyors who have done an extraordinary job for us this year in physically mapping new courses. We have surveyed 2750 courses in Europe this year alone, and we are on target to reach 3000 by the end of December” said John Ennis, General Manager, GolfBuddy Europe. “This has allowed us to grow our total number of courses surveyed to over 5,000 courses in Europe. We have mapped out virtually all the courses in Germany, Switzerland, Ireland, Finland, Portugal, England, Northern Ireland, Denmark and Turkey.” he added.
GolfBuddy is available in two models, the GolfBuddy Pro, and the GolfBuddy Tour. Both units offer the same advanced features, but the Tour comes equipped with a color screen. GolfBuddy comes preloaded with courses from around the world, and requires no annual membership fees to download courses. It can store up to 20,000 courses in its memory and offers many advanced features such as automatic course and hole recognition, a score tracking feature, and a mark feature that allows the user to calculate shot distance.
