Marlborough, MA – CHAMP, The World Leader in Sport Cleat Technology®, is proud to congratulate the winner of the Children’s Miracle Network Classic on his first win of the season and on having one of the lowest rounds of all tournament winners for 2009 by finishing up with a 64. With 41% of the golfers including the winner, the #1 Brand on Tour also had 6 of top 10 finishers wearing CHAMP spikes. Ending in a three man playoff this week’s tournament marks the 32nd win by a player sporting CHAMP Spikes on the PGA Tour in 2009. Also on the LPGA at the Lorena Ochoa Invitational another first time winner also won in the CHAMP Scorpion Stinger™. This win marks the 17th win on the LPGA this year.
Overseas was also a CHAMP weekend as the winner of the JBWere Masters played in Melbourne, Australia had yet another avid CHAMP supporter take the win. Not to far away another winner wearing CHAMP captured the PGA Sponsored Kiwi Challenge Event during a playoff. The European PGA Tour has had an impressive year for CHAMP as they have had spike domination consistently from the majority of the field at weekly events.
