TAMPA BAY, FL – (December 4, 2009) – The Hackers Paradise (www.thehackersparadise.com), the premier destination on the internet to discuss all things golf, announced that their print publication has officially sold out completely, which of course launches our THP Readers Choice Awards for 2009.
“When we officially announced the magazine, we hoped a lot of our readers would be enthusiastic, but we had no idea that this would happen,” said THP president Josh Babbitt. “We truly hope the product delivers and the readers enjoy our preview to the magazine that they can call theirs.”
THP made the decision to launch a print publication as something to go along with what their website stood for. The plan was put in place and the magazine is set to launch with quarterly issues in early 2010. This shortened collectible issue was done to give a glimpse of what readers and the industry can expect when the regular issues come out and showcase the THP Readers Choice Awards for 2009.
“We had not planned to do an inaugural collectible edition of this type, but we wanted our readers to have a chance to see what we were working on and get collective feedback on what they like and dislike to make sure the magazine stays about them”, said Josh Babbitt. “Our regular quarterly issues will be about twice the size but feature the same style that everybody will see in this one as it arrives in mailboxes starting today.”
THP the Magazine focuses on the 2009 Readers Choice Awards and the website announced today that the polls are officially open and accepting votes. The THP forum has a section marked off called THP Awards where readers can go on and cast their vote for what they feel is the best product in that category. 16 categories overall ranging from best driver to best fashion accessory and everything in between. Winners receive actual awards that are presented each year at the PGA Merchandise Show in January.

THP the Magazine focuses on what The Hackers Paradise readers talk about. Equipment, apparel, accessories, and the love of the game of golf. It is packaged up in a way that stands out and has a style about it that makes it incredibly unique. Roughly 25,000 issues were printed for this collectible first issue and they arrived on schedule on 12/1 and sold out within just 48 hours from that time.
The Hackers Paradise is quickly becoming the destination for consumers to read about the world of golf equipment, apparel, and accessories while at the same time having a blast entering some fun contests and winning some great stuff along the way. So many websites now are throwing traffic numbers up at companies to try and draw them in to advertising dollars. THP has no advertising by policy on their website, so the smoke and mirrors is not necessary.
Unlike other golf websites, THP produces original reviews daily ranging from the latest in men’s and women’s equipment, apparel, accessories, footwear, tees, distance measuring devices, instructional aids and more. Because THP does not accept advertising from OEM’s or other golf-related companies on their website, readers can be sure each review is thorough and unbiased. Earlier this year, THP announced the arrival of its inaugural golf magazine, which will debut in December. For more information about the magazine, or how your company can be involved with it, contact Josh Babbitt at the THP offices.
