Celebrity Entertainment and Free Giveaways Bring Excitement to Nation’s Largest Outdoor Golf Festival
Orlando, Fla. (Dec. 4, 2009) – Golfweek’s Golfest, the nation’s largest outdoor golf lifestyle extravaganza and demo day, will kick off its annual event series Jan. 23-24 at ChampionsGate Golf Club in Orlando, Fla. Currently in its seventh year, the event will not only offer exciting headline entertainment, but will also continue the success of last year’s “Grow the Game” fundraiser by donating a portion of the event’s proceeds to the new The First Tee of Central Florida.
Hosted by Golfweek and presented by Winn Grips, Golfweek’s Golfest allows attendees to try and buy golf’s latest and greatest equipment, apparel and accessories, all while enjoying a weekend of fun-filled golf entertainment. This year’s event will feature world-renowned superstar Annika Sorenstam on the Main Stage, in addition to a $10,000 Short Game Challenge, brand-new Wedge Fitting Zone and so much more. And as a special treat for attendees, Golfweek’s Golfest Orlando will also offer an exciting Par 3 Contest, which will include a number of sponsored holes that give participants to opportunity to test equipment and win prizes.

Golfweek’s Golfest Orlando is open to the public and will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday. Admission is $10 for adults; children 16 and under are free. Tickets can be purchased at the gate or online at www.Golfest.com.
