December 11, 2009

Boulder, Colorado – Femco Steel Technology (FST), the company that developed and manufactures the KBS Tour Steel shafts, announced another win last weekend at the 2009 Australian Open in Sydney, Australia. The winner of the prestigious event played the company’s new KBS Tour shafts.

Changing to the KBS Tour shafts just a few weeks ago, the Australian Open winner rebounded nicely from what was his worst season in 9 years on the PGA Tour. The coveted Stonehaven Cup was earned with a 5 stroke victory, demonstrating a stick-to-it attitude, solid skills, and by utilizing the full potential of his equipment.

The innovative, high performance KBS Tour shafts were designed by FST’s Kim Braly, whose steel shaft designs have won every major golf tournament around the world.

Headquartered in Boulder, Colo., FEMCO Steel Technology (FST) is a leading designer, manufacturer and distributor of high-quality steel golf shafts, including the premium KBS Series of shafts. Since 1949, FEMCO has remained committed to creating and providing high-quality and cost-effective steel products and services worldwide.
