THOUSAND PALMS, Calif. – PowerBilt Golf is adding five veteran independent sales reps as it prepares to launch the next generation of Air Force One clubs, the only clubs on the market that use nitrogen gas in the club head to enhance performance.

Mike Nicholson is the new rep for Florida. He spent 15 years with King Par/Lorimar and the last 10 years with Tour Edge. He’s been Salesman of Year for Dexter shoes, Wedgewood, King Par (five times) and Tour Edge.

Don Schultz takes over the Northern Illinois and Iowa territory where he has 25 years experience selling both hard and soft goods. He’s won numerous awards, including Salesman of the Year for Tommy Armour Golf, the Outstanding/One Million Dollar Club for Bridgestone and Rookie of the Year for Etonic. Other lines handled by Shultz include Lynx, Reebok and Page & Tuttle.

With 32 years of experience in the golf industry, John Parson becomes the new rep for Virginia and the northern half of North Carolina. His resume includes 11 years with Ram, 10 years with Square Two and the last nine years with Glen Echo. Parson resides in Lexington, Va.

Jeff Saldutti is the new rep for Indiana and Southern Illinois. His current line includes Antigua, CMC, Etonic, Maui Jim and St. Andrews. Saldutti has been in the golf business for 23 years and has been an independent rep since 1991. His sales background also includes experience with Xerox Corporation. Jeff has won awards with nearly every organization he has represented.

Finally, Randy Denzin is another sales rep veteran with 20-plus years in the business. He joins PowerBilt as the rep covering Kansas and Missouri. His other current lines include Ping clothing, Ahead, Maui Jim and Etonic. Like the other reps, Denzin is the recipient of numerous sales awards.

“The resurgence of PowerBilt has made us more attractive to veteran sales reps,” says Ross Kvinge, president of PowerBilt. “We’re thrilled to attract this type of talent as we get ready to introduce the next generation of Air Force One clubs, which include many improvements, more offerings and a revolutionary new iron set.”

PowerBilt will be unveiling this iron and the entire new line of Air Force One-Air Foil clubs at the PGA Merchandise in Orlando in January 2010.

PowerBilt Golf is a division of Hillerich & Bradsby, which has been making golf clubs since 1916. H&B is also the maker of Louisville Slugger bats and Bionic Gloves, the fastest growing glove in golf.
