Marlborough, MA – CHAMP, The World Leader in Sport Cleat Technology®, enjoys a dominating weekend at the Shark Shootout held at the Tiburón Golf Club at The Ritz-Carlton Golf Resort, Naples. As 12 teams competed and paired up to become the champion of the 21st Annual Shark Shootout, CHAMP spikes were worn by 70% of the field.
“Obviously we are pleased to have such a presence at this event and we congratulate all of the players on a great weekend of golf. These types of events show us a different side of players’ abilities as they work as teams for the title.” said Harris MacNeill, President and CEO of CHAMP/ MacNeill Engineering. “The most important story at the Shark Shootout for the many children fighting for their lives is the support of the CureSearch National Childhood Cancer Foundation as they search for treatments and a cure for childhood cancers. Greg Norman, the Shark Shootout participants and all of the supporting sponsors deserve credit for 21 years of this successful tournament and for the amazing amount of money they have raised for this important charity.
