JUPITER, Fla. – The list of the nation’s top clubfitters who have installed the SST PURE SPECS Shaft Alignment System continues to grow. The latest to add this state-of-the-art technology is FuZion Golf Studio, run by clubfitting veteran Chris Dempsey and Golf Magazine Top 100 Instructor Kevin Walker.
FuZion Golf was already a SST PURE licensee, but integrating the automated PURE SPECS system into their clubmaking facility significantly streamlined their club-building process. In addition to their headquarters facility in Jupiter, Fla., Fuzion Golf also has locations at the TPC Sawgrass in Ponte Vedra, Fla., and in New York City.

The patented SST PURE® Shaft Alignment System currently is used by more than 200 professional golfers on the PGA, Champions and European Tours. Using proprietary computer software and sensitive data-acquisition sensors, the SST PURE® shaft alignment process analyzes the structural irregularities that exist to some degree in every golf shaft and locates the shaft’s most stable orientation. By assembling the club with the shaft in its SST PURE® orientation, off-line bending and twisting of the shaft are minimized and impact repeatability on the center of the clubface by the golfer improves measurably. The process can be performed on existing clubs, new clubs or new shafts – steel or graphite – from all major manufacturers.
