Fresh off the heels of the successful magazine launch, THP adds another outlet!
TAMPA BAY, FL – (December 18, 2009) – The Hackers Paradise (www.thehackersparadise.com
The 30-minute weekly show titled “In the Rough with JB and Mr. Bogey,” will begin as a podcast with aspirations of growing during the course of 2010. Similar to THP’s frequently visited online forum and newly released magazine, THP radio hosts will discuss the latest happenings in golf and profile new equipment. Babbitt will team with fellow golfer and THP contributor “Mr. Bogey” who has worked in the golf industry for a number of years and will bring strong opinions to the show.
“The beauty of THP’s forum is that we feel we have a pretty good pulse on what golfers are talking about and what excites them,” said THP president Josh Babbitt. “We hope to carry over this same momentum and energy to the airwaves and provide yet another avenue for golf fans to consume their golf and equipment news. Through the support of various golf companies, our show will also provide giveaways ranging from equipment, accessories and apparel to our listeners.”
Followers of THP’s forum will notice a “radio” icon at the top of the page beginning in January and will be able to click and download a podcast of the show.
The Hacker’s Paradise which launched its website in 2008, has reached an elite status amongst popular golf websites. In 2009, THP saw a significant increase in traffic thanks in part to unique product reviews daily, timely interviews, and community forum where opinions are shared and discussed in a family-friendly manner.
Last month THP also rolled out its premiere issue of THP the Magazine, a publication that sold out in less than 48 hours and will be available nationwide at places such as Barnes & Noble.com and Amazon in 2010.
“The THP franchise is growing rapidly and we feel like we are strategically positioned to capture the golfer’s attention via multiple mediums,” added Babbitt.
The Hackers Paradise is quickly becoming the destination for consumers to read about the world of golf equipment, apparel, and accessories while at the same time having a blast entering some fun contests and winning some great stuff along the way. So many websites now are throwing traffic numbers up at companies to try and draw them in to advertising dollars. THP has no advertising by policy, so the smoke and mirrors is not necessary.
Unlike other golf websites, THP produces original reviews daily ranging from the latest in men’s and women’s equipment, apparel, accessories, footwear, tees, distance measuring devices, instructional aids and more. Because THP does not accept advertising from OEM’s or other golf-related companies, readers can be sure each review is thorough and unbiased. Earlier this year, THP announced the arrival of its inaugural golf magazine, which will debut in December.
