WEST CHESTER, Pa. (January 4, 2010) – Inside Golf, the award-winning weekly golf magazine-style television show on Comcast SportsNet, begins its 13th year on the air this weekend. Since its debut in January of 1998, the highly successful, locally produced and regionally based show has made its mark by concentrating on the area’s rich golf scene.

“We have been very fortunate to experience constant growth with this show, even through a number of years when the golf industry has been hit hard by a number of factors,” said Ken Selinger, president of CCI Communications, Inc., the West Chester-based company that produces the show. “We have a tremendous loyalty from our regular viewers and each year we continue to find new fans of the show.”

Inside Golf goes into this year with a new regular host, Philadelphia area radio veteran Harry Donahue. A temporary host at the end of last year, Donahue displayed a relaxed but informed style for golf and made an immediate connection with the Inside Golf audience.

“I can’t wait to get into the heart of the Inside Golf schedule and start visiting all of the great courses, like the ones I have seen as host sites for the show over the years,” said Donahue. “I am no different from the average golfer. I get excited by visiting a new golf course.”

The mainstay of Inside Golf’s appeal is the weekly visits to host courses, uncovering new challenges for golfers who are always looking for the best in golf quality and value. While the bulk of the weekly shows come from courses within a two-hour radius of Philadelphia, Inside Golf again will be making road trips to exotic and exciting locations for the express purpose of lifting the spirits of golfers trapped inside by winter weather. In the past, it has traveled much of the eastern half of the country in its quest to serve the golfer of the Mid-Atlantic region.

The Inside Golf television show airs four times a week on Comcast SportsNet – 5:30 a.m. and 10 a.m. on Sundays, 4:30 p.m. on Mondays and 11 a.m. on Wednesday. The show also can be seen anytime by using the On Demand feature on Comcast digital cable.
