SCNS leverages golf energy bar success and launches Marathon Of Miracles™ all natural food bars and nuts
Upland, CA January 28, 2010-SCNS Sports Foods, distributor of golf’s number one selling energy bars – the 1st and 10th Tee, will exhibit once again at the 2010 PGA Merchandise Show at Booth #3077 January 28-30. Since 2007, SCNS has distributed its “better for you” food products aimed specifically for golfers providing sustained energy and optimum nutrition. The energy bars can be found at more than 2,500 golf courses and retail outlets across the country. In addition, SCNS also distributes Snacktrition, a line of baked, vitamin fortified nuts.
The 1st Tee Pre-Round Golf Nutrition Bar fuels the mind and body before a golf round using chamomile, hops and valerian root to help golfers stay calm and focused. The 10th Tee Back Nine Golf Energy Bar combats mental fatigue and increases focus and energy for the back nine with green tea and panax ginseng extracts. Both bars contain essential vitamins and minerals. Flavors include Chocolate Peanut, Oatmeal Raisin, Chocolate Peanut Caramel, and Peanut Honey.

MOM all natural bars come in two varieties: Fruit & Nut and Dark Chocolate & Nuts. The Fruit & Nut variety, which is 190 calories, contains four antioxidant-rich fruits (blueberries, cranberries, pomegranates and gogi berries) as well as five nuts and seeds (almonds, peanuts, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds and sesame seeds).
The Dark Chocolate & Nuts, which is 200 calories, contains the same five nuts and seeds as the Fruit & Nut bars. Both bars contain oats, soy, and flaxseed.
MOM Nuts come in two varieties: Baked Almonds with Added Calcium, and Baked Cashews with Added Fiber. All MOM Nuts are baked to provide lower fat and a more natural taste. The Baked Almonds with Added Calcium provide 15% of the DV (Daily Value) for Calcium versus regular Almonds at 6-8% DV. The MOM Baked Cashews with Added Fiber have 3g of Fiber versus only 1g for regular cashews.
