(POCONO MOUNTAINS, Pennsylvania) – The Pocono Mountains Visitors Bureau (PMVB) – renowned for its recreational offerings and affordable, family fun – announces the appointment of David West to the position of Vice President of Marketing and Sales for the esteemed four-county destination in Northeastern Pennsylvania.
Responsible for creation of strategies and development of comprehensive programs integrating sales and marketing resources, West will uphold and insure the integrity of the iconic Pocono Mountains brand.

Prior to joining the PMVB, West was the Marketing Director, Bucks County Conference & Visitors Bureau (Bucks County CVB), and launched its award-winning Web site, garnering many industry accolades. He was also an MBA Professor at Drexel and taught Tourism and Hospitality at Temple University. West is a member of the U.S. Travel Association Education Committee and Destination Marketing Association International Technology Committee and will continue to serve both groups.
