The company will be conducting interviews at 2010 PGA Merchandise Show
IRVINE, CA – JANUARY 18, 2010 – FOURTEEN GOLF, recognized worldwide amongst top touring golf professionals as the foremost leading wedge designer and manufacturer, announced today that the company is expanding its sales force and will use the 2010 PGA Merchandise Show as a venue to meet with perspective independent sales executives.
According to FOURTEEN GOLF Sales Manager Kyumin Shim, “Our initiative is to better serve our dealers, provide better customer service, and enlarge our dealer base. We are looking for sales representatives that have established relationships within the retail community and it would help if they have sold hard goods before but is not a requirement.”
FOURTEEN GOLF is a burgeoning company with an abundance of potential and opportunity. The company has an immense following on the PGA, Nationwide, LPGA and more. This has helped FOURTEEN GOLF stimulate sales. However, to grow the brand at retail the company will hire several sales representatives in different territories.
An ideal candidate is a sales executive who has worked with a boutique company before and has been in sales for three years. A self motivated sales executive is a must as they will be independently in charge of their territory. The company has prepared a competitive compensation/commission plan. As an incentive, they have designed a demo program that compensates the sales representative.
Kyumin Shim will be meeting with potential candidates at the PGA Show. He and his sales team encourage sales representatives who want be part of a burgeoning brand to visit the ETC, hitting bay #9.
In addition, the sales staff is equipped with some of the most innovative golf equipment on the market. For 2010, FOURTEEN GOLF is introducing the recent recipient of the highly touted Golf Digest “Hot List” – the TC-910 Forged Irons. These stunning irons sell immediately once they are tested.
“I am confident that once any sales representative sees the actual product line, they will understand how easy it is to sell.” Adds Shim.
FOURTEEN GOLF understands the importance of the short game, this significant portion of the game has created an unprecedented demand on most tours for their signature series of wedges. The company prides itself on the ten titles won this year using their short game arsenal.
FOURTEEN GOLF in Japan established itself in 1981 as a premier golf equipment design company. The highly successful venture developed exclusive designs for Titleist, Yamaha, Srixon (formerly Dunlop Japan), Wilson, PRGR, and many more. The original team was credited with developing the first hybrid iron and the highly popular “Citation” cavity iron by Power Bilt which was one of the most popular irons of the 1980s. In the year 2000, the business transitioned into branded design and manufacturing company.
The name “Fourteen” is based on the fundamental rule of golf which states that the player can carry up to 14 golf clubs in their bag. FOURTEEN GOLF strives to produce the best 14 clubs ever. FOURTEEN GOLF aims to achieve the ultimate in club characteristics which allow golfers to hit shots they didn’t think possible. These clubs bring out the strength in a player. Like their “feather” moniker which represent the best scores in golf; a birdie, eagle, and albatross, these clubs will bring out the best scores for any golfer, professional or amateur.
