PALM BEACH GARDENS, FL, January 18, 2010 – Stina Sternberg, Golf Digest senior editor and Golf Channel on-air personality, will be the featured guest at the January 21st Web Café presented by the EWGA (Executive Women’s Golf Association), exclusively for its Executive Distinction members.
These live, half-hour web conferences are hosted by Pam Swensen, CEO of the EWGA, interviewing a wide range of fascinating people from the worlds of golf and business. Previous guests have included Annika Sorenstem, Sheila Johnson, co-founder of Black Entertainment Television, Dawn Hudson, former president and CEO of Pepsi-Cola North America; Cindy Davis, president of Nike Golf; and Joe Gibbs, co- founder of The Golf Channel.

Growing up in Sweden in a houseful of golf professionals, Sternberg began playing golf as a first-grader and was a certified club fitter and custom club builder by age 18. After college, she moved to the US to study broadcasting and open up a golf store, and became a member of the PGA of Sweden’s teaching division.
Today she is one of the leading female golf journalists in the world. A 10-year staffer at Golf Digest, Senior Editor Sternberg is in charge of the magazine’s women’s coverage and an equipment editor. From 2000 to 2008, she was a lead editor at Golf for Women and now editor-in-chief of Golf Digest Woman, a recurring women’s section in Golf Digest. She has hosted the Golf Channel”s highest rated reality show, “Big Break” along with serving as host, judge or commentator for numerous other Golf Channel programs. She has appeared as a golf expert on NBC’s “The Today Show”, ESPN, WCBS, WNBC, WABC, ESPN News and hundreds of radio broadcasts across the country.
Other Web Café guests scheduled for 2010 include Janet Pfeffer, vice president, finance, Ingersoll Rand; Karen Durkin, CEO of the Women’s Sports Foundation; and Julie Snow, head designer, for golf apparel company Cutter & Buck.
