(FORT WORTH, TX) – UST Mamiya – maker of the world’s finest carbon fiber golf shafts – will showcase the recently-launched ATTAS International Series ISA-1000 and Proforce AXIVCore Tour Green models, as well as its new line of premium grips, at the 2010 PGA Merchandise Show (Booth 401) in Orlando, FL.

The new UST Mamiya products will be available for testing at the PGA Show Demo Day on Wednesday, January 27 at Orange County National Golf Club outside Orlando.

The latest additions to the company’s famed shaft lines, the ATTAS International Series ISA-1000 and Proforce AXIVCore Tour Green have been adopted by many Tour professionals worldwide. The ATTAS is innovatively engineered to provide unparalleled feel and optimum energy transfer resulting in greater distance and accuracy. The tip-balanced Proforce AXIVCore Tour Green provides lower ball flight, reduced spin and better shot-making control without sacrificing feel.

Knowing that every golfer who installs a new shaft will also need a new grip, UST Mamiya is offering for the first time a variety of premium grips in various colors and styles, including:

• Pro DC – High-performance, half-cord grip featuring a unique 4/3 compound, preferred by better players looking for torsional strength in the upper hand and a soft, velvety feel in the mid and lower section of the grip.

• Comp SC – Utilizing the latest compression molding technology and finest rubber, UST Mamiya designers created this unique, select-compound, multi-color grip. Provides low torque as well as the ultimate in traction and feel.

• Tour PC – Designed using a new, proprietary blend of the finest natural and synthetic rubber compounds, these grips promote a velvet-soft feel and a glint texture for an exceptional torsionally-tight, long-lasting grip.

“We are thrilled with our product line-up at the start of the 2010 season,” says Gene Simpson, COO of UST Mamiya. “The ATTAS International Series ISA-1000 and Proforce AXIVCore Tour Green continue UST Mamiya pushing the performance envelope for golfers while our unique, premium grips are the perfect compliment.”

Likened to the precision of automaker Lexus, all UST Mamiya shafts are unrivaled in quality and performance attributed to world-class design engineering, premium-selected raw materials and precise handcrafted, repeatable production techniques. Tight tolerances, coupled with proprietary design principles and low-resin carbon-fiber materials enhance feel during the golf swing.

Stewart Cink, a long-time user of UST Mamiya shafts, won the 2009 British Open playing Proforce AXIVCore® shafts in his driver and three-wood. Cink also plays the company’s ATTAS shaft in his five-wood.

UST Mamiya® produces 35 shaft models within the ATTAS® and Proforce® product lines, each of which will be on display at the PGA Show.
