NORWALK, Conn. – Many of the nearly 1,000 top golf vendors and brands at the 2010 PGA Merchandise Show will host renowned PGA teachers and PGA and LPGA stars during the Outdoor Demo Day, January 27 at the Orange County National Golf Center, and on the Show floor at the Orange County Convention Center, January 28-30, in Orlando, Fla.
PGA Merchandise Show week tees off with the Outdoor Demo Day and a full schedule of special events and special appearances including:
* Guinness World Record Attempt, 6 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Egan and Piranha Golf team up for a Guinness World Record attempt to benefit the Folds of Honor Foundation. Egan Golf and Piranha Golf’s aim is to break the current world record for the most golf balls hit in a continuous 12-hour period.
* Cleveland Golf/Srixon, 10 -11 a.m.
Variety Show – featuring Nico Bollini, trick-shot artist and PGA TOUR impersonator, Terry Dill, Champions TOUR Long Drive Champion, and others.
* Peter Johncke, The Trick Shot Master, 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
* The PGA TOUR’s Justin Leonard and LPGA Tour’s Suzann Pettersen, 12 – 1 p.m.
Leonard & Pettersen will be appearing at Nike Golf on Tee 4 to demo equipment.
* Cleveland Golf/Srixon Variety Show, 1 – 2 p.m.
The Cleveland Golf/Srixon Variety Show features David Toms, the 2001 PGA Champion and multiple PGA TOUR winner, and Rod Akins, a Golf Digest Top 100 Instructor.
* SKLZ Presents Rick Smith, 2 – 3 p.m.
Rick Smith offers “How To Build A Better Lesson Plan” using the latest, innovative training aids.
* Cleveland Golf/Srixon Variety Show, 3 – 4 p.m.
The Cleveland Golf/Srixon Variety Show features Nico Bollini, trick-shot artist and PGA TOUR impersonator, Terry Dill, Champions TOUR Long Drive Champion, and others.
The main stage of the PGA Merchandise Show floor, the PGA Equipment Forum Stage, will host many top PGA teachers, industry leaders and touring professionals including Hank Haney, David Leadbetter, Annika Sorenstam and Peter Jacobsen, during Show days, January 28-30. Additionally, top teachers, touring professionals, trick-shot artists, award-winning PGA Professionals, product designers, long-drive champions, inventors, actors and authors will appear at vendor booths and special events throughout the three-day business event.
