Maui, Hawaii, January 25, 2010 – Letarte, the iconic Maui-based resort label, will debut its 2010 collection at the PGA Merchandise Show in Orlando January 28th-30th at Booth #4284. Although this is Letarte’s first attendance at the show, the brand has already made a splash in resort and specialty stores all around the globe with over 400 distinguished retailers selling the luxe styles, including stores in the continental U.S., Asia, Europe and the Caribbean.
“We are excited to bring Letarte to PGA because it allows us to showcase our collection to a specific demographic that we haven’t had the opportunity to reach through our current line of distribution,” explains co-founder Michele Letarte Ross.
The elite designs of sportswear, cover-ups and swimwear – created by sisters Lisa Letarte Cabrinha and Michele Letarte Ross – blend a bohemian island essence with chic global aesthetics. Designer Lisa Letarte Cabrinha, who lives on Maui, infuses her jet-setting island lifestyle and the spirit of Aloha into Letarte’s signature trademarked prints, intricate adornments and lavish detail.
“Our existing resort customers will be thrilled by this season’s collection,” says Ross. “It is fresh, unique and already wildly popular.”
The brand’s 2010 designs of crochet tunics, teal starfish print bikinis and bamboo embellished swimwear will be available to ship to retailers from their mainland-based Connecticut offices.
