Golf Inc announced it will publish four print and digital issues in 2010, thanks to the support from four industry leaders.
Troon Golf Management, Cybex International, The Toro Company and Foley & Lardner all signed on as premiere partners in 2010. The first issue shipped in the last week of January.
“We are excited by the advertising support, and the call from readers for a continued print presence for Golf Inc.,” said Katina Cavagnarro, Publisher of Golf Inc.
Golf Inc.’s last print version appeared in Summer 2009. It published a digital -only version in Fall 2009. The magazine will continue in digital format as well, reaching more than 3,000 golf course developers and owners across the world.
“The market has changed a lot since I took over as Editor in 1998,” said Jack Crittenden, President and Editor In Chief of Golf Inc. “While we need to have digital nowadays to reach developers, American golf course operators still prefer the print version. Our premiere partners have made it possible for us to deliver Golf Inc. in both versions.”
Crittenden expects to make other exciting announcements soon regarding editorial coverage. Golf Inc. is now focusing more on trends and commentary, and less on “how to” stories.
