Softspikes Dominates Leaderboard At PGA Tour’s Farmers Insurance Open

Black Widow® Tour™ captures first victory of the year at the Nationwide Tour’s New Zealand Open

Brentwood, Tenn., February 1, 2010 … Softspikes®, the world’s best selling golf cleat brand, dominated the leaderboard and the plastic cleat field at the PGA TOUR’s Farmers Insurance Open, as 9 of the top 12 finishers wearing plastic cleats chose Softspikes. Further, 24 of the top 37 finishers at the PGA TOUR event also wore Softspikes products including Pulsar®, the #1 Cleat on TOUR.

In other tour news, the winner of the Nationwide Tour’s New Zealand Open wore Softspike’s Black Widow® Tour™ cleats, golf’s first adjustable cleat, marking the first victory of the 2010 season for the Company’s most innovative cleat. Additionally, 31 of the top 37 finishers at the New Zealand Open were equipped with Softspikes cleats, encompassing the Company’s complete portfolio of products.
