Wethersfield, CT (February 4, 2010) – Golfing Magazine, a national publication targeting the active golfer in major regional markets, is pleased to announce that it will feature Iron Sets and Individual Hybrids in its “Hands On” Equipment Testing section in the upcoming Spring 2010 issue. The “Hands On” equipment play testing sections are designed to play-test products in a way that is fair to both club makers and consumers. The play testing involves the co-operation of registered members of the PGA and a mid-to-low handicap player selected by them, to use, and then comment on, different equipment.
Equipment is evaluated by play-testers to help determine Golfing Magazine’s Players Choice Awards. Information about the product and testing results are published in print in Golfing Magazine, online at www.GolfingMagazine.net and in the Golfing Magazine eNewsletter. All above editorial avenues reach in excess of 300,000 golfers.
Golfing Magazine invites all manufacturers to participate in the iron test in its “Hands On” Play Testing section. Product is accepted on a first come first served basis.
Should your company wish to participate, Golfing Magazine asks that you send a set of irons and/or individual hybrids to test, a media kit, product images and product information before February 15th, 2010 to the address below.
Irons sets will be divided into three categories and you may submit product for each category. Please submit a full set for each category you wish to be included in. We use PGA professionals to help match the clubs and shaft flex to the players. :
– Iron Sets – Game Enhancement (Stiff or Regular flex)
– Iron Sets – Players Irons (Stiff Flex)
– Iron Sets – Super Game Improvement (Regular Flex)
– Individual Hybrids will be tested separately in this same issue as irons.
– Please submit at least 2 – 3 hybrids of differing lofts for each model you wish included.
