February 5, 2010 (Oak Brook Terrace, IL)- Excel Golf Products, Inc. is proud to announce the signing of three tour professionals; Bubba Dickerson, Vicky Hurst, and Craig Kanada to their Zero Friction staff. All three professionals are also Callaway staff players and are looking to make great strides in 2010.
Bubba Dickerson is a returning member of the Zero Friction staff and a PGA/Nationwide Tour Professional. After placing 36th on the Nationwide Tour Money List in 2009, Dickerson managed to post his first professional victory at the Chitimacha Louisiana Open. Dickerson also had five top-25 finishes and looks to continue building on that success in 2010. A University of Florida graduate, Dickerson uses a 2 ¾ orange Zero Friction Tee to reach his highest level of distance and accuracy off the tee.
Vicky Hurst is also a returning Zero Friction staff player with 2010 being her second year putting the 3-prong tees in play on the LPGA. In 2009, which was Hurst’s rookie season on tour, Hurst posted 3 top-10 finishes and led the LPGA Tour in average driving distance (272.5 yards). Her low score of 2009 was a 63 at the LPGA Corning Classic. After a stellar rookie season, Hurst is poised to turn heads on tour in 2010 and well beyond.
Craig Kanada is a PGA/Nationwide Tour veteran and has posted over 70 top-25 finishes in his career. An Ohio State University alumni, Kanada is in his first season as a Zero Friction staff player. Kanada is competing in this week’s Nationwide Tour event, the Moonah Classic.
