Free Seminars At PGA Merchandise Show Big Hit

Mitchell Golf Equipment Institute, an industry leader in professional training, conducted six 1-hour seminars at the 2010 PGA Merchandise Show. More than 125 industry professionals seeking new ways to advance their careers and enhance the bottom line of their golf business were in attendance.

PGA Professionals wanting to enhance their lesson program heavily attended the How To Add Club Performance Evaluation To Lesson Program seminar. The seminar explained how teaching professionals could use club analysis to better instruct their students. Those attending learned how The14 Club Performance Numbers influence ball flight and the steps required to conduct a series of lessons with club performance analysis. They learned how and when to make club performance alterations and how to charge for their time. Each attendee received a free copy of The 14 Club Performance Numbers manual.

The How To Set Up and Operate A Club Repair Shop seminar attracted a mix of all industry professionals, with more than 50% being PGA Professionals. The seminar featured how to successfully set up a working repair shop, what equipment is required and what services to perform. It emphasized business strategies designed specifically for industry professionals who want to implement a new profit center into their golf operation. Each attendee received a free copy of How To Set Up and Operate A Club Repair Shop manual.
