ORLANDO, Fla. (Feb. 8, 2010) – Golf Channel has announced a multi-year, multi-level partnership with Troon Golf, the world’s leading golf management, development and marketing company with golf course properties in 31 states and 26 countries.
Included in the new agreement, Troon-managed golf courses will be connected with GolfNow.com, the largest and most comprehensive online tee-time booking service on the Internet. The GolfNow technology offers golfers the convenience of booking tee times at thousands of golf courses around the world at any time of day or night.
In addition to GolfNow.com, the partnership also connects Troon properties with Golf Channel’s new digital and events platforms, a combination of services designed to be the ultimate one-stop golf concierge service for the recreational player. Such assets will include the Golf Channel Am Tour, the largest amateur tour in the country, and exposure on various Golf Channel media platforms, including GolfChannel.com, the number-one golf destination on the Internet.
