$50 entry fee per person includes green fee, golf car, warm-up balls and prizes
NORTH LAS VEGAS, Nevada – Aliante Golf Club and OB Sports announced that the North Las Vegas Better Ball Championship will be hosted at Aliante Golf Club on Saturday, February 20, 2010. Open to all North Las Vegas residents and City of North Las Vegas employees, the entry fee – $50 per person for a two-person team – includes green fee, golf cart, food & beverage specials, warm-up balls prior to play and prizes. The format of play is one better ball of two; that is, the lowest score of the two-person team on each hole becomes their team score. Prizes will be awarded for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place teams. Plus, there will be prizes for on-course competitions such as closest to the pin and longest drive.
“The North Las Vegas Better Ball is a great way for golfers in the community to get together to enjoy friendly competition on the golf course,” said Marc Orlowski, Director of Golf at Aliante Golf Club. “Most golfers don’t have many opportunities to take part in a golf event. It’s a fun departure from the norm of a regular tee time with three other golf buddies.”
