PHILADELPHIA, Pa. (February 16, 2010) – Cementing a casual arrangement that has existed for the past few years, the award-winning GolfTalk Live radio show has named Lou Guzzi as its official PGA Director of Instruction. Guzzi, owner of the Lou Guzzi Golf Academy, is the PGA Director of Instruction at both Talamore CC in Ambler and the new Nicklaus designed Applecross CC in Downingtown.
Guzzi, a nationally recognized award-winning golf instructor who serves on the PGA of Americas prestigious National Instruction Committee, will now be a regular part of the GolfTalk Live scene. Aside from frequent interviews and analysis on the weekly radio show, Guzzi now anchors the instruction page on the GolfTalk Live website, www.golftalklive.net. His video tips will be added to the page on a regular basis and all of his videos will be archived so that golfers can refer back to them when needed.
“I have a passion for the game of golf and I love helping golfers improve,” says Guzzi. “The people at GolfTalk Live share that passion and that’s why I wanted to be a part of the GolfTalkLive family.”

Guzzi’s string of awards started when he was named “Teacher of the Year” in the Philadelphia Section PGA in 2003. He has continued to receive regional and national honors since then. It makes him a perfect match for the award-winning GolfTalk Live radio show.
For the third time in the last four years, the GolfTalk Live radio show has been honored as one of the top golf radio shows in America by the International Network of Golf. At the annual Media Awards presentation by the International Network of Golf during the recent PGA Merchandise Show in Orlando, GolfTalk Live received the prestigious Outstanding Achievement Award in the radio category.
