(Cap Cana, Dominican Republic): In an effort to aid Haitian earthquake relief efforts, The Cap Cana Championship will auction a golf getaway package, Champions Tour pro-am spots and airfare for four on eBay beginning Feb. 11, Tournament Director Efren Garcia-Estrada said today.

The Champions Tour event will be played March 26-28 and will be preceded by a two-day pro-am which will be included in the auction, Garcia-Estrada said.

“When we first heard of the devastation in Haiti, we came to the conclusion that The Cap Cana Championship needed to assist our neighbors,” he said. “Our hope is that through the generosity of all the participating companies and organizations, we can maximize the potential donation to this cause.”

The bidding for the golf package begins at 7 p.m. Feb. 11 and concludes at 7 p.m. on Feb. 21 on eBay.

The highest bidder will win the following package which is valued at over $50,000:

• Four spots in The Cap Cana Championship pro-am March 24-25, a gift package, invitations to both pro-am parties, and food and beverage within the designated areas.
• Five nights lodging in four rooms at Golden Bear Lodge & Spa at Cap Cana.
• First class Delta Air Lines travel for four in the contiguous United States to Punta Cana.
• Ground transportation to and from the airport.
• Eight VIP hospitality tickets to the Champions Tour event from March 26-28.

All proceeds from the sale of the package will be donated to The Clinton Bush Haiti Fund (www.clintonbushhaitifund.org).
