Benefits to both companies’ golfers
NORTHBROOK, Ill., Feb. 22, 2010 – KemperSportsTM, a premier golf facility management company, and Preferred Golf ClubTM, a division of Preferred Hotel Group, have announced a joint venture, making many of KemperSports’ renowned golf courses available on a preferred basis to Preferred Golf’s exclusive membership. In addition, a limited number of KemperSports’ golf patrons will have automatic access to membership in the Preferred Golf Club.
“This brings valuable benefits to the golfing clients of both companies,” the joint announcement by Casey Ueberroth of Preferred Golf and Steve Skinner of KemperSports, said.
The Preferred Golf Club allows golfers who are also frequent travelers to join a club whereby members receive preferred benefits at participating resorts. These benefits will now be extended at select KemperSports golf facilities.
Participating KemperSports properties will be listed as part of The Preferred Golf Club annual printed directory, on the PGC website, and included in monthly e-mail distribution campaigns and American Express card partner mailings.

With this agreement, KemperSports becomes the exclusive golf management company for The Preferred Golf Group and its members. It is anticipated that KemperSports, Preferred Golf and American Express, a preferred partner company, will initiate a number of joint marketing activities.
