LAKE MARY, FL – If a company believes that its new driver, putter, irons or training aid is truly at the top of its category in the golf industry, then the ING Demo Lab serves up the platform on which to prove it.
The ING Demo Lab will be one of the highlights the 20th Anniversary ING Spring Conference May 9-13 at one of the world’s top-ranked golf destinations, Pinehurst Resort in the Sandhills of North Carolina.
Anyone in the golf industry or media is invited to attend (www.inggolf.com).
The non-profit International Network of Golf conducts this annual gathering of golf media and business leaders to exchange information, display product and develop and nurture business relationships. Approximately 200 people are expected from every walk of the industry and the media.
The ING Demo Lab places companies side by side on the practice range and putting green, giving companies an equal setting, and attendees the opportunity to test new offerings of all types from companies of all sizes.
“The ING Demo Lab really levels the playing for the smaller companies in the golf industry,” says George Baker, CEO of Razor Golf. “Everyone has the same size display area, and the same opportunity to put their products up against the other participating companies. We wouldn’t miss it.”
The Demo Lab is set for Tuesday, May 11, 2:30 p.m. at Pinehurst No. 8, former site to the PGA National Club Pro Championship. It is also a perfect time for writers to gather story material and TV/Radio broadcasters to do interviews.
Other popular elements of this annual gathering of golf media and business executives include:
1) Food For Thought Breakfast: Workers from various aspects of the golf industry will lead a discussion about the current state and the future direction of the golf industry.
2) The One-On-One Appointment Show, during which a series of 15-minute private meetings are conducted between exhibiting companies and media.
3) The International Pairs World Qualifier. A two-player team that wins this 18-hole net points competition on the Tom Fazio-designed No. 4 will represent ING and the USA in the International Pairs World Finals in Scotland in October, an expenses-paid trip. The Durland Cup scramble will also be conducted, along with other golf events.
4) Motivational session with Chip Eichelberger, former right-hand man for Tony Robbins.
5) Education and self-improvement programs galore from utilizing the New Social Media, to marketing, to public relations, publishing, writing and more. There is something for everyone.
Those interested in attending may do so by visiting www.inggolf.com and clicking on Spring Conference. An electronic registration process is available.
