SAN DIEGO, CA. – Heritage Golf Group is pleased to announce the appointment of Ricky Weber as the Tournament Sales Director at TPC Tampa Bay. TPC Tampa Bay is a high end daily fee golf facility, operated by Heritage Golf Group, and is a member of the TPC Network of properties located nationwide. The club is also the home of the Outback Steakhouse Pro-Am, one of the most successful events on the Champions Tour.

TPC Tampa Bay features an 18-hole stadium course designed by Bobby Weed with Chi Chi Rodriguez as the PGA TOUR Player Consultant. Opened in 1991, the property has hosted eighteen consecutive Champions Tour events and numerous PGA TOUR Qualifying Schools. The facility was recently ranked the 13th Best Public Course in America in the 2010 Golf World Reader’s Choice Awards and has been certified as an Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary since 1997.
Weber has a wide range of experiences in the golf industry. He is a Class A member of the Professional Golfers Association of America and has served club roles in the Tampa area including Assistant Professional, Head Professional and General Manager. He has also served in the United States Navy, owned his own business and been a partner in an International Golf Marketing company.
