BEND, OREGON – Tetherow in Bend, Oregon was honored as a finalist in Golf Inc’s national ‘Development of The Year’ competition. Conducted annually by Golf Inc, the ‘Development of the Year’ competition highlights the country’s most innovative golf developments. Selections are made by an independent panel of judges who rank the top new golf developments based on aesthetic and environmental qualities as well as the ability of the development and management team to meet and exceed the ‘vision’ of the facility owners. Other factors that were included in the judging were course routing, clubhouse design/functionality and overall facility presentation. Other finalists included Martis Camp in Truckee, California and The Ridge Golf Club in Sioux Center, Iowa. The runner up for this national competition was The Preserve at Rathbun Lake in Moravia Iowa, and the winner was The Links at Terranea in Rancho Palos Verdes, California.
