Awarded honor from “Heart Of America Section” of GCSAA
BLUE SPRINGS, MISSOURI – Daryl Pearson, the superintendent at Stone Canyon Golf Club, just outside of Kansas City, was recently honored as “Superintendent of The Year” in the “Heart Of America Section” of the GCSAA. The award recognized the region’s top Superintendent for 2009.

Pearson leads the agronomic team at Stone Canyon and was charged with the ‘grow-in’ and course preparations for the 2009 opening of Stone Canyon Golf Club. Stone Canyon was the first Greg Norman Signature Design to open in the greater Kansas City area and recently received honorable mention accolades from Golf Magazine in their recent ranking of the Best New Courses You Can Play in the County.
