Hall of Famer records 2nd lowest score in the history of women’s professional golf
Sanford, FL – RIFE Putters would like to congratulate the Winner of the ANZ Ladies Masters held this past weekend at The Royal Pines Golf Club in Australia. The winner used a RIFE Island Series Barbados Putter to shoot rounds of 68-69-64-61 = 262 (-26 under for the Tournament). Her 61 on Sunday was the 2nd lowest round ever recorded in the history of women’s professional golf.
After the round she was asked about her putting and said, “the putter has never felt so good in my hands, I have worked very hard and every time I make a stroke I feel like the ball is going in.” When asked if this was the greatest putting performance of her career, the 9-time Major Champion simply replied, “yes I believe it was.”
RIFE’s Hybrid Mallet putter was in the hands of the 2nd Place Finisher at this event as well. In fact RIFE had 17 putters in play at the ANZ Ladies Masters and recorded two Top 5 and two Top 25 Finishes in addition to capturing the victory. This marks the second victory of the 2010 season for RIFE Putters and their 42nd in the past two years. RIFE has now captured wins on the PGA, Champions, Nationwide, LPGA, Men’s and Ladies European Tours all without paying a single player, making RIFE Putters one of the greatest stories in the history of the golf business.
About RIFE Putters
RIFE Putters, LLC is the true innovator behind horizontal grooved face putter technology with a patent on specifically sized grooves since 1997. These precisely spaced grooves allow the putter to gently press into the cover of the ball and grip and lift it into an instant forward roll. Guerin Rife states, “just as grooves in irons help control spin so do grooves in a putter face.” Other companies are now trying to imitate this patented technology but the spacing of the grooves is the true key to the gripping and lifting effect of grooved face putter technology. Horizontal RollGroove™ faced putters create the truest “no skid” roll in golf no matter where you hit the ball on the putter face.
