ORLANDO, Fla. – March 11, 2010…Marriott Golf, one of the world’s premier golf operators, today announced that Shadow Ridge Golf Club in Palm Desert, Calif., was ranked as No. 75 on Golfweek’s prestigious Best Resort Courses for 2010.
Golfweek’s 500 course evaluators for the “America’s Best” listing submit ballots grading courses all over the country on a 10-point scale to determine the country’s finest golf courses. Factors such as routing of the course, integrity of design, quality of shaping, variety and playability of greens, conditioning, maintenance, and landscape management, among others, are all taken into consideration for this annual list.
