Tseng relies on Speedline woods and Idea hybrids and irons to capture title in record-setting style
PLANO, TEXAS, March 16, 2010 – Adams Golf staff member Yani Tseng captured the fifth title of her professional career with a course-record 7-under 66 in the final round to win the Handa Women’s Australian Open. Tseng’s final-day charge included birdies on seven of the last 12 holes to secure the three-stroke victory.
En route to victory, Tseng played the Speedline 9032 LS driver (9.5 degree), two Speedline fairway woods (3, 5), an Idea a7 hybrid (19 degree) and Idea a4 irons (4-PW).
“Yani’s performance this year has been nothing short of incredible,” said Chip Brewer, President and CEO of Adams Golf. “She better start making room in her trophy case because she is going to be tough to beat with the way she has been playing so far this season.”
Tseng’s win follows successful performances at the opening two events on the LPGA schedule where she finished third at the Honda PTT LPGA Thailand tournament and tied for third at the HSBC Women’s Champions tournament.
