Course’s long list of accolades grows with latest honor
(TALLAHASSEE, Fla.) – SouthWood Golf Club – the award-winning Fred Couples and Gene Bates designed course owned by The St. Joe Company and managed by Billy Casper Golf – is ranked the No. 23 course in Florida in Golfweek’s 2010 “Best You Can Play, State-by-State” rankings.
SouthWood is in elite company, alongside several hosts to professional tour events and world famous resorts. The survey examined overall strength of routing, feature shaping, natural setting, greens, variety and memorability of holes, conditioning and maintenance, landscape management and other criteria.
