IRVINE, CA – March 17, 2010 – FOURTEEN GOLF, recognized worldwide amongst top touring golf professionals as the foremost leading wedge designer and manufacturer, announced today that the company is introducing a new set of forged irons designed and developed specifically for women – the TC-450FG.
These classically designed forged irons have been engineered to meet the specific needs of an average mid-handicap woman golfer. The design team at FOURTEEN GOLF implemented several technical features that would ensure playability and workability.
The clean cavity back iron head of the TC-450FG possesses the lowest CG permitted by the USGA. This downward precise placement of the CG provides a higher ball trajectory with an ideal spin rate. The CG is constant throughout the set for consistency. A subtle round sole promotes playability from any lie. Each iron in the set is slightly offset for forgiveness and consistency.
For that ultimate forged feeling, these game improvement irons are forged from soft S25C steel. A mirror satin finish enhances the appearance of these eye-catching irons. The TC-450FG irons are available in a proprietary graphite or steel shaft. For an added touch of flare, a pink tacky rubber grip finishes the set. The TC-450FG irons will begin shipping in March 2010.
According to FOURTEEN GOLF COO Marcy Kamoda, “These irons are unique. Most golf manufacturers take their men’s irons and just add a ladies shaft and then market them to women. The TC-450FG irons have been designed just for women. Every technical and aesthetic detail has been devoted to a woman golfer.”

The highly successful venture developed exclusive designs for Titleist, Yamaha, Srixon (formerly Dunlop Japan), Wilson, PRGR, and many more.
